man-in-lingerie look might fly in New York, but a Howard Stern sidekick says it earned him a butt-whipping in steamy Miami.

Self-proclaimed "prime-time, big-time, front and center, opening-night celebrity" Elegant Elliot Offen is suing the Intercontinental Hotels Group for $21 million after he says he was "ambushed and sandbagged" by bellboys who took offense at the sight of a man in a black G-string, pantyhose and heels.

"I'm in New York every day in my G-string and people are pulsating, palpitating and salivating," Offen said. "They can't get enough of me."

The suit, filed in Manhattan Supreme Court, says the "primitive bigots" who work at the oceanfront Miami Beach Holiday Inn had more than enough of Offen's skimpy attire as he tried to leave the hotel in October 2008.

A spokeswoman for the hotel company did not return calls.

Offen, who said he is in his 50s, said the experience will not make him change the look that Stern once panted over while on the air.

"Because of the tip-top, topnotch, pristine shape I am in, I will wear this for the rest of my life," he said.
